A new InfraCore® Inside bridge was inaugurated in Belgium on November 8, 2010. Perhaps at one of the most special places in Flanders; the Vismijn in the historic city of Ghent. The plastic bridge forms an important part of the walking route through the old center of Ghent. This bridge can be called unique in several respects; on the one hand, it is the first InfraCore® Inside bridge in Belgium; on the other hand, it is also the first InfraCore® Inside bridge placed in an entirely 17th-century environment. The bridge's modern, understated design forms a harmonious unit with its historic surroundings.
