Hoofddorp | Haarlemmermeer

A 19-meter-long bicycle bridge had been installed in Hoofddorp. The old wooden bridge was at the end of its technical lifespan. With the new VVK composite bridge with InfraCore® Inside technology, the client Municipality of Haarlemmermeer has a low-maintenance solution with an expected life span of at least 100 years. Also the applied loan work is completely made of VVK composite in order to minimize maintenance costs in the future. For the separation of pedestrian and bicycle traffic, in addition to a difference in the color of the wearing course, a difference in height was applied which further increases traffic safety. The project was carried out in cooperation with the company Anton Bouw.
