For the Municipality of Kerkrade, FiberCore Europe renovated the historic bridge over the Miljoenenlijn in Kerkrade, while maintaining its visual quality. Due to the light weight of the prefab composite decks with InfraCore® Inside, they could easily be placed, using only the truck of Westdijk Transport. Fast and with minimal disturbance to the surroundings. Due to the maintenance-free nature of the decks, the Municipality does not have to worry about them after delivery. The underlying steel structure is also better protected from the elements by the homogeneous construction of the 53-meter-long prefabricated decks.
