Norway | Hjelmeland

For our agent in Norway - Module Solutions & Systems - FiberCore Europe produced this 32-meter long prefabricated composite bridge. The bridge was shipped to Norway, where it - loaded on a truck - traveled the last 7 kilometers on winding Norwegian roads (this caused some tense moments!). At its final destination in Hjelmeland, the bridge was clamped in place on one side for extra rigidity and slenderness.

The bridge will be used for a future walking and cycling route along the water. For now, it is a convenient shortened route for Hjelmeland schoolchildren.
