In the marina (tidal harbor) of Schiermonnikoog, FIberCore Europe delivered five light and movable bridges to the floating jetties on behalf of the municipality of Schiermonnikoog.

The bridges are 11 meters long and 1.5 meters wide and feature lightweight composite railings

Due to the low weight of the bridges, the load on the floating jetties is minimal

Another very big advantage is its insensitivity to the seawater environment.

Another nice touch is that the foam used in the bridges is made from recycled PET bottles, so a large percentage of these bridges already consist of recycled material. This is true of all FiberCore bridges, by the way.
