Tilburg | Wilheminakanaal | Small lock gates

On October 10, 2015, the first 2 InfraCore® lock doors were installed in the Wilheminakanaal lock near Tilburg. The doors are 5 meters high and 6.5 meters wide. The entire project has 8 doors, of which the lower main doors are about 13 meters high and about 10.50 meters wide. The lock is part of the Wilhelminakanaal widening project. The doors were developed in collaboration with Heijmans and Boskalis and commissioned by the Municipality of Tilburg, Rijkswaterstaat and the Province of Noord-Brabant. Construction company Hillebrand is taking care of the steelwork.
