She already looks beautiful during the day, with her graceful slender forms and special white bridge deck, but if you want to see her in all her glory; visit her after dark. With her elegantly lit railings, she is at her most beautiful.
This particular bridge takes advantage of some of the unique properties of composite like no other. The freedom of form of our prefab composite bridges is fully utilized in this undulating design. But composite is also an excellent choice for Malmö's maritime climate: the material is insensitive to external influences (such as salts) and does not rust or rot. In addition, the bridge is virtually maintenance-free, making it a sustainable solution.
Due to its light weight, the precast bridge was installed on Malmö's historic quay walls in no time with minimal disruption to the surrounding area.
