Two InfraCore® bridges were installed in the Municipality of Northeast Polder on Monday morning, December 12.
Both plastic bridges have a free span of as much as 20 meters and are suitable for light traffic.
In addition to the bridge deck, the railings are also made of 100% composite.
The Municipality of Northeast Polder chose the composite bridges because of their durable properties: no maintenance and a long lifespan. Because the bridges are lightweight, the foundations can be made lighter.
InfraCore® bridges have a very favorable carbon footprint. As such, the plastic bridges fit perfectly into the municipality's ambitious CO2 targets. The bridges bear the InfraCore® Inside logo. This quality mark is a guarantee of reliability, durability, standards and guarantees.
With this decision, the Municipality of Northeast Polder is taking a big step in the field of Sustainable Purchasing.
