We are FiberCore Europe, an international company that designs and manufactures structures made of fiberglass-reinforced plastics (or: composites). Such structures are lightweight and low-maintenance, which brings numerous advantages. We currently have bridges and lock gates (the world's largest made of composite!) on order and more will follow in the future.

The material fiber-reinforced plastic is on the rise in civil engineering. In addition to being an innovative company, we are therefore also a growing business and regularly looking for enthusiastic talent for our Engineering Department. Our Engineering Department is responsible for the entire technical development of our projects: from technical feasibility in the sales or tendering phase, through structural calculations and drawings/3D models (SolidWorks), to the preparation of production. In addition, all of our projects must be managed, and coordinated with the other project partners. All in all, the work within Engineering is diverse, technically advanced, internationally oriented and will give you a lot of satisfaction.

Possible positions.
Depending on your education, experience and interest, you could be offered the position of 3D modeler, Engineer, Senior Engineer or Project Leader - or a combination thereof.

Competencies
We are looking for candidates who recognize themselves in the following:

• Team player;
• Precise and cost-conscious;
• No 9 to 5 mentality;
• Experience with fiber-reinforced plastic is not required, but a desire to learn about it is;
• Written and oral proficiency in both Dutch and English;
• For 3D modeler: proficient with technical drawings, 3D CAD (e.g. SolidWorks or similar) and visualizations;
• For Engineer and Senior Engineer: education in civil engineering (knowledge of bridges and locks) or aerospace engineering (or otherwise demonstrable knowledge of fiber reinforced plastics);
• For Senior Engineer and Project Leader: work experience in an engineering firm and/or executive company;
• For Senior Engineer and Project Leader: some years of experience in the design process (as project leader, designer or structural engineer) of civil engineering structures.
