FCE nominated for the 2010 Prima Ondernemen Award
FCE & PRIMA Entrepreneurship
FCE, because of its leadership in sustainable products, received a nomination for the Prima Ondernemen Award.
The PRIMA Ondernemen Award rewards innovative and sustainable entrepreneurship and this is measured in three ways: in business strategy and leadership, in products, and among staff and organization.
With this nomination, FCE is among the select group of 9 Dutch companies that will enter the final selection round. Three winners will eventually be chosen from this group. There were no less than 540 applications for this award.
In its assessment, the judges commented on FCE's products, "FiberCore has achieved a lot in three years. Composite seems to be a good choice compared to other materials. Given the traditional nature of construction, it shows a lot of guts."
The award ceremony took place on September 29 during the Kunststoffen 2010 exhibition in Veldhoven. NRK president Joan Hanegraaf presented the nominations PRIMA Ondernemen to nine companies in the rubber and plastics industry.
The other companies that were nominated are: AKG B.V. in Vroomshoop; Dyka B.V. in Steenwijk; Nedcam B.V. in Apeldoorn; NPSP B.V. in Den Bosch; Schipper Kozijnen B.V. in Opmeer; DPI B.V. in Geldrop; Haval Disposables B.V. in Gemert and Martens B.V. in Oosterhout.
